Work Diary - Patterns

Evaluation of patterns session - In our third session, we had to shoot images of patterns. This was fairly easy because if you look close enough there is patterns in everything. I didn't struggle when finding patterns to shoot as they were all over the college campus. 

  

This image shows pattern as the shapes made from the wooden structure is repeated up the side and on the opposite side of the wooden archway.

This image of window shows pattern as the shape of the  semi - circles are the repeated in the same way up the three full circular shapes. It also shows the pattern of the bricks surrounding the window.







Progression - If I was to redo the patterns session, I would try and find patterns within natural things such as plants and animals as it would be interesting to capture and would make an interesting final image as it is showing that not all patterns are man made. I found an example online which is showing a contrast of the spots on ladybirds.This is something i would like to incorperate within my work.
