Evaluation of Line Session - I think that finding lines to take photos of was easy as we are surrounded by lines and can find them wherever we look. As it was a sunny day it gave a natural lighting which also created shadows which was a good factor as they created lines from the reflection of objects. In the first session , i found getting the right angle quite hard as the light needed to be in the right place to create a decent image. Other than that i found the task quite easy and enjoyable.
This is one of the images which i took during the lines session, it wasn't one of one of my final images but i liked the way the bench's shadow went across the bricks of the wall, it shows both man made and natural lines. I also liked how the color of the old amber leaves contrast with the dull dark color of the brick wall.
This is another image i took from the lines session, i like the way that this shows the metal frame and the shadow of it as well, it is a structure which is made of straight lines and you can also the lines of bricks along the walls which shows the natural and man-made lines again.
Progression - If i was to re-do the lines session, i would of taken more images so i had a wider variety of images to choose from for my final images. I am happy with the images i took though but it would be good to have a wider image bank to choose from. Whilst researching lines i came across some photographs which also show movement through lines. I like the effect that this style of photograph has and i would like to try and include line in my movement photography.
