Work Diary - Depth

In the depth session, we originally set out to take images of form but then there was a slight change in weather so the shadowing needed to capture form disappeared so we then had to take images of form. Depth seemed easier to capture as it is all around us, it just depends on the angle in which you look at things.

I like this image because it shows the depth of the stairs as it shows the whole of the first step then less of the other stairs as they go up the stairs.

I like this image because it clearly shows the bricks in focus but then gets blurry this shows the depth of the wall because it shows the bricks are uneven and raised and they are showing a 3d scene in a 2d image.

Progression - If i was to re-do the depth session, i would of taken more images so i have a wider variety of images to choose from for my final images. I would like to include more depth using objects so it shows the depth of the field in the shot. This is an example of the style of photograph which i wish to include in my future work.
